This past Saturday, Merry Lynn and I had the "privilege" of visiting a youth sports complex -- waiting for a prospect to arrive for a JUS presentation. The reported temperature was 105 (you gotta love Florida!). It was hot and I was sweating just like you would expect from a half-Norwegian who thinks 39 degrees is short-sleeve weather. On top of that, the prospect never showed up. It was disappointing, for sure.
Here's the point. In the business of network marketing, attitude is everything. You absolutely cannot allow yourself to indulge in a negative attitude. People follow people who choose to maintain a good attitude even when things are not going your way. It is one of the characteristics of a leader. And to succeed in network marketing, you must develop the leader in you. And by the way, you don't need to be a born leader -- leadership is a quality you can choose to develop.
